I think the problem we all have with the holidays is that we're imagining the Norman Rockwell (or Martha Stewart or Pinterest) version and none of that is realistic. I follow a home blog where she'll show you a beautifully staged picture of, say, her bed. And then she'll show you a pic of what the other side of the room looked like at the same time and it's a disaster.
