  8. Hi, thanks for the fun challenge! The book I'm reading is More Happy Than Not by Adam Silver and it is awesome! Highly recommend who those who like YA or just good books with well defined and interesting characters.
    1. Erection - awkward, but it's about a teenage boy. He just talked about waking up and having to wait a bit because his friend was in the room.
    2. Fireworks. The boys just lit them and they went flying into the night.
    3. The relationship between the main character, Aaron, and his girlfriend. They are that perfect anti-smooshy, but perfectly compatible and loving kind of couple. Ultra sweet.
    4. Aaron sort-of bff, Brendan. He sells weed and is often high himself.
    5. Aaron and Genevieve play the Remember When game about things that are currently happening or recently happened. It's not really funny, but I play that game with my friends so it made me smile.
    Happy reading!

  58. Currently Reading: Hector and the Search for Happiness by Francois Lelord

Something hard: "When they were still at the bar and Ying Li was telling Hector about herself (of course now he realised that she hadn't told him everything) she'd told him how much her sisters earned in a month: he'd worked out that it was half the price of the bottle of white wine Edouard had ordered, sparkling next to them in its ice bucket." (p.33)

    Something fast: airplane

Something sweet: "Happiness is being with the people you love." (p.48)

Something high: ..."Hector could see magnificent green mountains all around and, down below, the sea dotted with boats. (p.35)

Something funny: "Pills are a bit like sweets: not everybody likes the same ones." (p.3) Funny, but true.

  69. From Sylvie and Bruno by Lewis Carroll

1:Something hard-as in strict/hard on someone-On second thoughts, don’t shout,” the Professor replied. “ The Vice-Warden might hear you. He’s getting awfully strict!
2: Something fast: Before doing this, the Sentinel turned to the children, and said “Give me your names.” “ We’d rather not!” Bruno exclaimed, pulling Sylvie away from the door. “We want them ourselves. Come back, Sylvie! Come quick!”
3: Something Sweet -“And there were a apple-pudding—and Ug gug ate it all—and I got nuffin but a crust! And I asked for a orange—and—didn’t get it!”
4: Something high- as in high up in the chain of command - "It’s the King himself!”
5: Something funny-By this time we had come up to the Gardener, who was standing on one leg, as usual, and busily employed in watering a bed of flowers with an empty watering-can. “It hasn’t got no water in it!” Bruno explained to him, pulling his sleeve to attract his attention. “ It’s lighter to hold,” said the Gardener. “A lot of water in it makes one’s arms ache.”

  75. This is a great challenge! :)

I'm reading Clarissa by Samuel Richardson -

    1. Something hard: James Harlowe, the heroine's brother. He is heart-hearted and generally a horrible human.
    2. Something fast: Robert Lovelace. Fast and loose with the ladies, by all accounts!

    4. Something high: I'm thinking of Samuel Pepys' descriptions of his arguments with his wife when he would write "High words this evening" or similar. For Clarissa there have been a great many 'high words' amongst her family!
    5. Something funny: There I fall down. Nothing as yet. Richardson was not known for his humour!
