Virtual Advent Tour

Greetings, Virtual Advent Tour!  Thanks for stopping by.  This is my fourth year participating in this fun event.  Unfortunately, due to the death of my mother-in-law and traveling for her funeral, I don't have time or computer access to write a complete post.   Rather than miss out completely, I am sharing a song that has been special to her.  She had a beautiful voice (read about it here) and sang in many community and church concerts.  Oh, Holy Night was one of her favorites to perform so, in her honor, please enjoy this flash mob version.

  1. Very Nice! I, too, love Oh, Holy Night.

I think flash mobs like this are terrific. I'd love to be a part of one or better yet stumble into one. That would be very cool.

I knew this one had taken place in Canada (The Bay is an icon here), but I had to look up the actual location. Turns out it was in Victoria, BC on the west coast. Very cool.

  2. I love "Oh, Holy Night" and this version is really fun. It makes me want to hang out in malls in hopes of coming across a flash mob just waiting to perform...

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother-in-law. I hope good memories help your family through the dark days ahead.

  8. So sorry for your loss. :( Thank you for sharing the memory of something she loved to do. When my Church choir still existed, this was always my favourite time of year to sing because we did all the best songs. Wishing you and your family love and strength at this time of year.

(PS - I really love your Christmas background on the blog. I love when people festify their blogs! I do, too.)
