The plants I ordered - raspberry bush, hops vine and honeysuckle - arrived in the mail, but it's still too cold to plant, so they are resting comfortably in pots on the screened porch.
I participated in two on-line "barters" and received these fabrics, trims and yarn in exchange for some fabric I had no use for.
Dave and I enjoyed an evening around the fire with friends.
And the most frightening part is that I actually documented it all in photos - just in case a blog post came to mind.
photos always make for a good blog post. i take lots that never make it to the multiple little screens.
ReplyDeleteI just went through a "Bloggy slump" where it seemed as though nothing was interesting enough to post about - I just wasn't feeling it. I laughed about your big red dog with the frisbee necklace, and your evening at the camp fire sounds like a lot of fun. Your photos of ordinary moments made for a fun post! :-)
ReplyDeleteSeems to me there's a whole blog post in how that dog got that frisbee around her neck!! Too cute! Never underestimate what trivial stuff will entertain us, Tami!
ReplyDeleteIt's not nothing.....and the fire with friends sounds like a fun time!
ReplyDeleteIt's like that around here, too. ;) I like it when it's nice and quiet. It's way better than hectic or filled with one disaster after another.
ReplyDeleteI hope Gabby didn't have to wear her new "collar" too long. Gotta wonder how she even did that.
lol...I loved your blog post & I totally understand that sometimes there is just nothing going on in your live that you think is note worthy...but your friends do!
ReplyDeleteI loved the post! I'm glad to hear that others get bloggers block! Bring your camera Tami - we can both take pictures of our weekend together and both have something to blog about!! I have a feeling that teaching me to quilt will be blog-worthy.
ReplyDeleteAnd look! Those photos gave you a post :) WE could use that fire right now. It's too cold to be spring :(
